I'm a native of Dakar, Senegal, but I have called Austin home since 2002.
From interning at the UN's International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) to complex civil cases in Texas, my career has been guided by a commitment to preparation, advocacy, and service. After graduating from the University of Texas, I earned my J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2013. I then completed a long-term internship with the Office of the Prosecutor at the ICTY, working on complex cases involving serious war crimes. That experience sharpened my ability to analyze difficult legal issues, manage extensive evidence, and handle every matter with discipline and precision.
When I returned to the U.S., I continued on this path by practicing with litigation-focused firms in personal injury, consumer protection, and contract law. I have appeared in state and federal trials and handled appeals before the Texas Thirteenth Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
My practice now focuses on people seriously injured by another party’s negligence, including car and truck accidents, pedestrian crashes, workplace injuries, premises liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death.
Over more than a decade of practice, I have helped clients obtain meaningful recoveries, including six-figure settlements. Every case is different, but my approach is the same: listen carefully, communicate clearly, prepare thoroughly, and fight for the result the facts and the law support. After a serious injury, clients often face pain, financial strain, and uncertainty. My job is to protect their rights, explain the process, and make sure they never feel like just another number.
Outside the law, faith, family, and service remain central. Those values shape how I practice—with humility, discipline, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others.
